Dutch Design Week (DDW)
Dutch Design Week (DDW) is the largest design event in Northern Europe, showcasing work from over 2,400 designers and attracting more than 250,000 visitors. To streamline the event experience, we developed a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android that enabled visitors to explore the event map, view designer showcases, bookmark their favorite events, and receive real-time, proximity-based notifications via iBeacon technology. The app provided an interactive and personalized guide for attendees, making navigation and discovery effortless during the event.

Problem Statement
With thousands of designers and hundreds of events spread across Eindhoven, visitors to Dutch Design Week faced difficulty in discovering, navigating, and managing events of interest. Organizers also needed a scalable way to engage visitors in real-time and enhance their experience with contextual updates.
Our Solution
We built a robust and intuitive mobile application that empowers visitors to effortlessly browse and filter events, explore them via interactive maps, and receive real-time notifications using iBeacon technology. With personalized features like bookmarking and social sharing, the app not only improves navigation but also enhances user engagement and event participation.
